Why is it called SURF, you ask? Quite simply - the unique silhouette of the backrest resembles a surf sail. This distinctive shape is upholstered with our breathable and super-soft RUNNER mesh cover, which is available to you in 7 different colors. The well-conceived anatomical design comes from Justus Kolberg, a German designer with whom it has won several awards. Rightly so!

• An adjustable lumbar support that adapts to your back and encourages correct sitting posture.
• The synchronous mechanism is a key factor in ergonomic, back-friendly seating. That is why our SURF is equipped with it and also features multiple backrest locking positions. Depending on body weight, the amount of resistance required to recline the chair can be adjusted.
• Our sustainable LUCIA cover fabric is used on SURF's padded seat. This stretch fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester, is extremely durable and therefore perfectly suited for seat upholstery.
• The seat depth can be precisely adjusted to your leg length by using the slider underneath the seat. This reduces pressure on the thighs while distributing body weight evenly across the seat padding.
• With the functional 3D armrests, surfing gets even more comfortable! Rotate, slide and pivot the soft pad armrests into a position that feels comfortable for you and optimally relieves your neck area.
• Surfing without water? Absolutely! With a star-shaped base and 65 mm Ø casters, smooth riding on any type of flooring is guaranteed.

Tested for ergonomic seating in the office

This office chair has been tested according to European standards for office task chairs. EN 1335-1 defines requirements for dimensions and ergonomic properties so that the chair can be used effectively at the computer workstation. The supplementary amendment AC:2002 specifies individual requirements of this standard. EN 1335-2 assesses safety-related aspects such as stability, strength and durability. For you, this means: you get a tested office chair that combines ergonomic dimensions, safe use and reliable load-bearing capacity in everyday office life.
