Why is it called SURF, you ask? Quite simply - the unique silhouette of the backrest resembles a surf sail. This distinctive shape is upholstered in our breathable and super-soft RUNNER mesh cover, which is available for you in 7 different colors. The well-thought-out anatomical design comes from Justus Kolberg, a German designer with whom it has won several awards. Rightly so!

• A height-adjustable lumbar support that adapts to your back and guides you into a correct sitting posture.
• The synchronous mechanism is a key factor in the ergonomic, back-friendly area. That is why our SURF has been equipped with it and also features several locking positions for the backrest. Depending on body weight, the resistance for recline can be adjusted.
• Our sustainable LUCIA upholstery fabric is used on SURF's padded seat surface. This stretch fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester, is extremely durable, and is therefore perfectly suited for seat surfaces.
• The seat depth can be adjusted precisely to your leg length by using the slide control under the seat. This reduces pressure on the thighs while the body weight is evenly distributed across the seat cushioning.
• With the functional 3D armrests, surfing becomes even more comfortable! Rotate, slide and swivel the soft soft-pad armrests into a position that suits you and optimally relieves the strain on your neck area.
• Surfing without water? No problem! With a star-shaped base and 65 mm Ø casters, you are guaranteed smooth wave riding on any type of flooring.

Certified for ergonomic sitting in the office

This office chair has been tested according to European standards for office task chairs. EN 1335-1 defines requirements for dimensions and ergonomic properties so that the chair can be used effectively at a visual display workstation. The supplementary amendment AC:2002 specifies individual requirements of this standard. EN 1335-2 assesses safety-relevant aspects such as stability, strength and durability. For you, this means: you receive a tested office chair that combines ergonomic dimensions, safe use and reliable load-bearing capacity in everyday office life.
