Why is it called SURF, you ask? Quite simply - the unique silhouette of the backrest resembles a surf sail. This distinctive shape is upholstered with our breathable and super-soft RUNNER mesh cover, which is available for you to choose from in 7 different colors. The sophisticated anatomical design comes from Justus Kolberg, a German designer with whom it has won multiple awards. Rightly so!

• A height-adjustable lumbar support that adapts to your back and guides you into a correct sitting posture.
• The synchronous mechanism is a key factor in ergonomic, back-friendly seating. That is why our SURF is equipped with it and also features multiple lock positions for the backrest. Depending on body weight, the amount of resistance when reclining the chair can be adjusted.
• Our sustainable LUCIA upholstery fabric is used on SURF's upholstered seat. This stretchy fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester, is extremely durable, and is therefore perfect for seat surfaces.
• The seat depth can be precisely adjusted to your leg length by using the sliding lever underneath the seat. This reduces pressure on the thighs while evenly distributing body weight across the seat cushioning.
• With the functional 3D armrests, surfing becomes even more comfortable! Rotate, slide and swivel the soft pad armrests into a position that feels comfortable for you and optimally relieves strain on your neck area.
• Surfing without water? It works! With a star-shaped base frame and 65 mm Ø castors that guarantee smooth wave riding on any type of flooring.

Tested for ergonomic sitting in the office

This office chair has been tested in accordance with European standards for office task chairs. EN 1335-1 defines requirements for dimensions and ergonomic properties so that the chair can be used effectively at a workstation. The supplementary amendment AC:2002 specifies individual requirements of this standard. EN 1335-2 assesses safety-relevant aspects such as stability, strength and durability. For you, this means: you receive a tested office chair that combines ergonomic dimensions, safe use and reliable load-bearing capacity in everyday office life.
